- A survey this week revealed that 58% of Britons believing the economy is worsening

- Labor productivity in the United Kingdom, measured by output per hour worked, rose by 0.7% in Q4 of 2024, rebounding from a revised 1.1% fall in the previous three-month period

- 40% of the UK's energy is imported

Global Economy

- Trump will hit countries that buy Venezuelan oil with a 25% tariff

- Temu loses around $500mn  a year trying to break into US markets. 

- The S&P500 (The index of US' 500 biggest companies) has risen almost 2% so far this week indicating US consumer confidence rising
