We’ve just released a new feature for your BuonMenu account: In‑App Notifications.

This makes it easier than ever to share important messages or promotions with your customers, right when they’re using your digital menu.

What does it do?

With this update, any message you send through BuonMenu will now show in two places:

1. As a push notification (if the customer has allowed push notifications)
2. Inside the menu itself (every time someone opens it)

This means more people will see your messages, even if they haven’t turned on push notifications.

How can you use notifications?

Here are some great ways to use notifications:

• Promote today’s specials or new dishes
• Remind customers about upcoming events
• Offer discounts or limited-time deals
• Share important messages with your customers

The message appears clearly at the bottom of the digital menu as soon as you open it.

How to use this new feature

1. Log in to your BuonMenu account
2. Go to the Notifications section
3. Write your message (and add an image)
4. Click "Create Notification"
5. The notification will be displayed instantly on your menu and a push notification will be also sent to your subscribers.

In the same Notifications section, you can also see some statistics about the notifications (number of push notifications sent, number of clicks on push notifications) and you can delete old messages anytime, so your menu stays up to date.

This update makes sure more of your customers actually see your announcements, whether they’re at home or just scanning your QR code. It’s a simple way to keep your guests informed and increase sales without needing extra apps or tools. This powerful feature is included in all plans, at no extra cost.
